When selecting, it is only necessary to ensure that the operating power is less than or equal to the rated power of the reducer. The method is relatively simple.
The rated power of a general-purpose reducer is generally determined based on conditions such as a usage (operating condition) factor KA=1 (with an electric motor or steam turbine as the prime mover, stable load on the working machine, 3 to 10 hours of operation per day, no more than 5 starts per hour, and an allowable starting torque of twice the working torque), a contact strength safety factor SH≈1, and a failure probability of a single pair of gears ≈1%.
The combination reducer with lifetime lubrication is filled with synthetic oil at the manufacturer. In addition, the reducer is usually supplied without lubricating oil and is equipped with an oil filling plug and an oil drain plug. The quantity of lubricating oil for the reducer listed in this sample is only an estimate. Set the position of the oil level plug according to the installation position specified at the time of ordering to ensure correct oiling.
