Therefore, in order to better assist the majority of users in making good use of the reducer, we will introduce to you in detail how to install the NMRV reducer correctly.
Before the first step of installation, confirm whether the motor and the reducer are intact and undamaged, and strictly check whether the dimensions of all parts connected between the motor and the reducer match, such as the positioning boss of the motor, the input shaft and the groove of the reducer, etc., as well as their fit tolerances.
The second step is to unscrew the screws on the dust-proof holes on the outside of the reducer flange, adjust the PCS system clamping ring so that its side holes align with the dust-proof holes, and insert the Allen key to tighten. After that, remove the motor shaft key.
The third step is to naturally connect the motor with the reducer. When connecting, it is necessary to ensure that the output shaft of the reducer and the input shaft of the motor are concentric and that the outer flanges of both are parallel. If the concentricity is not consistent, it will cause the motor shaft to break or the gears of the reducer to wear. In addition, during installation, it is strictly forbidden to strike with an iron hammer or other tools to prevent excessive axial or radial force from damaging the bearings or gears. Be sure to tighten the installation bolts first and then the tension bolts. Before installation, wipe off the anti-rust oil on the motor input shaft, positioning boss and the connection part of the reducer with gasoline or zinc sodium water. The purpose is to ensure the tightness of the connection and the flexibility of operation, and to prevent unnecessary wear and tear.
Before connecting the motor to the reducer, the keyway of the motor shaft should be made perpendicular to the tension bolt first. To ensure uniform force distribution, first screw on the installation bolts at any two diagonal positions, but do not tighten them. Then screw on the installation bolts at the other two diagonal positions, and finally tighten all four installation bolts one by one. Finally, tighten the tension bolt. All tension bolts must be fixed and inspected with torque wrenches in accordance with the specified fixed torque data. The correct installation of a reducer between a reducer and mechanical equipment is similar to that between a reducer and a drive motor.
